Jeffrey joined the Dispute Resolution practice in April 2021 where he advises on arbitration and litigation matters. He achieved a Juris Doctor degree at the City University of Hong Kong, having obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy & Economics at University College London. Jeffrey completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the City University of Hong Kong and qualified as a Solicitor in Hong Kong in 2020.
Prior to joining Tanner De Witt, Jeffrey worked at a leading PRC law firm in Hong Kong. Jeffrey was one of the first people to be seconded to Hong Kong’s Department of Justice as an Exchange Lawyer. Whilst at the Department of Justice of the HKSAR Jeffrey participated in the formulation of arbitration policies including, for example, The Supplemental Arrangement Concerning Mutual Enforcement of Arbitral Awards between the Mainland and the HKSAR; and the Pilot Scheme on Facilitation for Persons Participating in Arbitral Proceedings in Hong Kong.
Jeffrey is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
