Biography
Jacqueline is an Associate in our Restructuring and Insolvency Practice. Jacqueline’s practice focuses on complex insolvency matters and commercial litigation, such as shareholder disputes and debt recovery. She has also acted for clients in applying for and defending various court applications, such as applications for injunctions and disclosure orders.
Jacqueline joined the firm as a Trainee Solicitor in 2022 and was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2024. She completed her Bachelor of Laws and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Jacqueline is a native Cantonese and English speaker and fluent in Mandarin.
Biography
- Acting for and advising the liquidators (Alvarez & Marsal) of China Evergrande Group on various aspects of the liquidation, including recovery and realisation of assets of the estate and the formation and composition of any committee of inspection.
- Acting for and advising the provisional liquidators (Grant Thornton) of Global Cord Blood Corporation, a company previously listed on the NYSE, in the preservation and recovery of books records and assets in Hong Kong.
- Acting for and advising the receivers (Shinewing Specialist Advisory Services Limited) of certain assets of Mr Pan Sutong, ultimate owner of various cross border entities including Goldin Real Estate Financial Holdings Limited
- Advising on the bankruptcy of Dr. Sit Kwong Lam, the former Chairman and indirect controlling shareholder of Brightoil Petroleum (Holdings) Limited.
