Lorraine has recently joined Tanner De Witt as a paralegal in our Corporate and Commercial practice. Lorraine’s professional background is marked by a diverse range of experience spanning numerous legal disciplines, from intellectual property matters involving patents to the evolving landscape of blockchain and cryptocurrency regulations.

In 2020, Lorraine obtained her LLB from Manchester Metropolitan University, hosted at the University of Hong Kong. In addition to her Bachelor of Laws, Lorraine holds a Master of Criminal Justice from Boston University, which she earned in 2014. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Suffolk University in 2012.

Before joining Tanner De Witt, Lorraine worked as a paralegal for an international venture capital accelerator firm, focusing on contracts within corporate and commercial law. Prior to that role, she served as a project coordinator and legal assistant in the tokenization division of a real estate investment company, aiming to turn real life assets into digital ones.

Before relocating back to Hong Kong, Lorraine lived in Boston, Massachusetts where she worked as a paralegal in a boutique law firm specializing in personal injury, divorce, auto accidents, criminal and civil law. Prior to that position, she gained experience as a legal assistant in a large intellectual property law firm.
