Tanner De Witt grows litigation and corporate capabilities

Tanner De Witt is delighted to welcome two new staff. Commercial litigator Derek Cheuk and corporate solicitor Katherine Ng joined in recent months to strengthen our commercial litigation and our corporate practice areas. Katherine is working under partners Eddie Look, Tim Drew and Edmond Leung and Derek will consolidate our litigation offering under Mark Side, Pamela Mak and Jeff Lane.

Derek Cheuk – Litigation

Derek Cheuk (qualified Hong Kong, 2009) joined Tanner De Witt in November 2015 as a solicitor and specialises in Commercial and Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Before this he worked as a solicitor at an established Hong Kong law firm. Derek has also had experience working in the financial industry in London and Australia. Katherine joined the Corporate and Commercial team in October 2015 from an established local law firm.

Katherine Ng – Corporate and Commercial

Both Derek and Katherine are educated in the United Kingdom. Katherine holds a BA in Business Studies from The University of Greenwich and a JD from The City University of Hong Kong. Derek received his CPE from Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London. Both born in Hong Kong, Derek and Katherine are fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
