CareersTanner De Witt is a leading independent Hong Kong law firm with a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused legal advice. We are seeking a motivated and capable Paralegal to support our Restructuring & Insolvency (R&I), Dispute Resolution and International Arbitration practices.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual who is interested in working on complex and high-profile contentious matters, including commercial disputes, insolvency proceedings, investigations, international arbitration and enforcement actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting lawyers with case and matter management.
- Preparing, reviewing, and organising legal documents and court bundles.
- Conducting legal research.
- Managing document reviews and preparing chronologies, indexes, and summaries.
- Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, and other external parties.
- Assisting with filings, service of documents, and court-related procedures.
- Supporting the teams with administrative and project-based tasks as required.
Requirements
- Degree or above in Law or equivalent.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, positive, and team-oriented approach.
