We are delighted to announce that Tanner De Witt’s award-winning, top tier Restructuring and Insolvency practice is once again listed in the Global Restructuring Review’s GRR100 2020 compilation of the world’s leading law firms for cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters. This year, we are the only firm from Hong Kong included in this prestigious listing.

This is the fourth edition of GRR’s annual guide. Firms were required to provide the history of their practice as well as notable past and current matters. The guide aims to provide the most competent and vouched-for international firms for cross-border restructuring work, but also identifies excellent local counsel outside the often-visited jurisdictions. GRR’s feature on the practice included details on recent key matters, such as acting for merchant bank and asset management firm China Cinda, Hong Kong businessman Sit Kwong Lam, and cement corporation China Tianrui.

“Thank you to GRR for the honour of a repeat inclusion in this year’s GRR100 list,” Restructuring and Insolvency Co-Head Ian De Witt remarked. “Despite a challenging year, it’s wonderful to once again see the team’s hard work acclaimed in this manner and it’s great to continue to call all of these other firms our peers. We will continue to endeavour to be at the forefront of the city’s top cross-border insolvency and restructuring cases.”
