Ian De Witt speaks on panel at American Bankruptcy Institute’s International Insolvency Forum 2020

Restructuring and Insolvency Partner and Co-Head Ian De Witt was recently invited by the American Bankruptcy Institute to speak on a panel at their annual International Insolvency Forum. Held virtually this year from 18 to 20 November, the panel featured speakers such as former US President Bill Clinton, William Brandt (the Executive Chairman of the International Insolvency Institute), and many others.

Ian’s panel discussed the implications of COVID-19 on restructurings around the globe. His fellow panelists were:

  • Adam Crane of HSM Group (Cayman)
  • Dr. Wenli Li of Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia (USA)
  • Alexandre Le Ninivin of Oxynomia (France)
  • Ricardo Reveco of Carey (Chile)

Rafael X Zahralddin of Elliot Greenleaf (USA) moderated the panel. Ian’s insights into the effects of COVID-19 on restructurings in Hong Kong are also included on Rafael’s global collection of insolvency news.
