Tanner De Witt adds strength to emerging practice areas and welcomes new intake of trainees


Tanner De Witt is pleased to announce the addition of six new faces to the firm: Billy Tang, Winnie Wat, Samantha ChuStephanie Lok, Vanessa Pang and Curtis Cheung.

Billy Tang

Billy joined us as an Associate for our White Collar Crime practice from another established Hong Kong law firm, where he handled a wide range of criminal matters. He holds a LLB and PCLL from the University of Hong Kong. In his spare time,  Billy is a keen adventure traveller who enjoys interacting with the local residents of the country he is visiting. His favourite destination is Central Asia.

Winnie Wat

Winnie joined us  in August this year and assists the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. She achieved her Bachelor of Laws at City University of Hong Kong with First Class Honours.  Winnie enjoys volunteering and has lead many social projects which promote social innovation and corporate social responsibility. She is also a distance runner, a karate practitioner and a figure skater.

Samantha Chu

Samantha joined our Family & Private Client practice in September this year after completing her training at a renowned matrimonial law firm in Hong Kong. Samantha obtained her BA from the University of British Columbia and her PCLL from the City University of Hong Kong. She enjoys sports and outdoor activities such as swimming, hiking, badminton, and scuba diving. She also recently joined The Law Society of Hong Kong’s Latin dancing classes and a new course on hula hooping with LED hoops in Tamar Park! Samantha is very passionate about family law. She has plans to study several counselling courses online this autumn.

Stephanie Lok

Stephanie is in her first seat as a trainee solicitor in our Family & Private Client practice. She obtained her double degree in Arts (Literary Studies) and Law from the University of Hong Kong. Stephanie plays field hockey and is a certified scuba diver.

Vanessa Pang

Vanessa is also part of our 2017 cohort of trainee solicitors.  She obtained her Bachelor of Laws and her PCLL from The University of Hong Kong. Vanessa is in her first seat as a trainee solicitor in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution department. For leisure, she enjoys table tennis and hiking.

Curtis Cheung

Curtis’ first seat as trainee solicitor is in our Employment practice. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from the University of Hong Kong. Curtis played volleyball at university and he is also passionate about learning new languages. He is currently learning Korean and German.
