Legal update: Completion of newly announced e-courses by Responsible Officers and Representatives will earn Continuous Professional Training (CPT) hours

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI) have announced the launch of its online Advanced Learning Platform (ALP) today. The ALP will enable licensed Responsible Officers and licensed Representatives to learn relevant skills and techniques online at a time and place convenient to them. Professionals that complete designated e-courses will receive Continuous Professional Training (CPT) hours for their efforts.

A log of all CPT hours will be available online for both students and their intermediaries to ensure compliance with the Securities and Futures Commission’s requirements. Both members and non-members of HKSI are encouraged to visit the HKSI e-learning website to learn more.
