Tanner De Witt supports the 2019 Kiwi Ball as Gold Sponsor

Hong Kong’s Kiwi population descended onto the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel on Saturday 9 November for the annual ANZ Kiwi Ball, an evening of enjoyment and friendship between the city’s residents from New Zealand and their friends.

Now in its eighth year, this year’s Kiwi Ball was given an ‘Art Deco’ theme to pay homage to the unique art deco style of New Zealand – best demonstrated through the North Island city of Napier which was rebuilt after a deadly earthquake in 1931. Guests enjoyed a “Taste of NZ” menu crafted by the Renaissance’s Kiwi head chef Glenn Sausey which featured a three-course dinner and New Zealand wines and beer.

Hong Kong’s resident Kiwi performance group Te Hokioi Te Whanga Kakara was also in attendance and delivered another fabulous kapa haka performance. It was a wonderful event to celebrate the Kiwi community and we look forward to next year’s Ball!
