Tanner De Witt Solicitors Slim Down for IWIRC’s Biggest Loser Competition

Brace yourselves ladies and gentlemen – after 3 months of salads, rice cakes and tummy grumbling, the results of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation’s (IWIRC’s) Biggest Loser competition, in aid of the Hong Kong Cancer Fund, have been announced!

Drum roll please…..

The Biggest Loser is……………….. Tanner De Witt’s Robin Darton!
Robin entered the competition in November 2013 weighing 119.3kg and stepped off the scales last month an impressive 19.9 kilos (or 16.75%) lighter.

His opponent, and fellow TDW partner Ian De Witt, lost just shy of 23kg (15.59%), weighing 122.4kg at the end of the challenge.
Combined, the two Hong Kong-based solicitors lost close to 43kgs – the equivalent of just over 90 pints of beer!

“[We]would like to thank these two legends of the Hong Kong insolvency industry for getting behind a fantastic charity and assisting the Network in raising donations for the HKCF,” said the IWIRC Hong Kong Network.

While both contestants were pleased to be able to tighten their belt buckles by a few notches, there was only room for one Biggest Loser.
Ian took the rap well, enthusiastically posing as Robin’s secretary for the day! He was kept busy answering phones and filing (his nails) while “Mr Darton” had a busy day of meetings on the ahem…,golf course. There’s never a dull day at Tanner De Witt!
