Increase of Statutory Minimum Wage Effective from 1 May 2017, the rate of Statutory Minimum Wage has been raised to HK$34.50 per hour.  The monetary cap on the requirement of employers recording the total number of hours worked by employees has also been revised to HK$14,100 per month from 1 May 2017.  The Labour Department has also issued updated Guidelines and Notes on the Statutory Minimum Wage at
