Sharina is a solicitor in the Litigation and Arbitration team. She joined Tanner De Witt in 2019, prior to which she worked at an independent Hong Kong litigation firm. Sharina’s practice focuses on commercial arbitration and litigation.
Sharina earned her Bachelor of Laws with Honours from City University of Hong Kong upon having received a full scholarship plus stipend. During her LLB, Sharina studied European Competition Law at University College, University of Oxford. Sharina was part of the team that won the Championship of the prestigious 20th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Sharina earned her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) from City University of Hong Kong.
Sharina is fluent in English and proficient in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Acting for various clients in litigation proceedings in Hong Kong and multiple other jurisdictions involving a multimillion US-dollar claim by a national government and various state owned entities arising out of various transactions and related arrangements.
- Advising in relation to events of default under a multimillion GBP bond issued to raise finances to develop a significant retail and commercial centre in the United Kingdom as well as identifying routes to recovery.
- Acting in and advising upon various contentious shareholders’ disputes in SMEs and across industries including F&B, medical, charity, waste and energy, legal.
