Ian De Witt was a panelist at a Corporate Rescue Symposium at Hong Kong University. The symposium involved discussions among academics, insolvency practitioners, labour representatives, bank representatives, business persons, and government officials from Hong Kong, the United States, and Australia on the Consultation Paper for the proposed corporate restructuring law in Hong Kong.

Tanner De Witt enjoyed an exclusive performance of Aladdin, a pantomime by the Hong Kong Players, at the Shouson Theatre, Hong Kong Arts Centre. Following this performance, Aladdin opened to the general public and ran until 13th December. The pantomime featured a brand-new, locally produced script filled with all the gags, song-and-dance routines and high energy that make the panto such a well-loved tradition.
