Tanner De Witt sponsored a women's rugby team at the 2008 Savills Professions Sevens, which this year celebrated its 25th anniversary. The event brought together 16 corporates from the financial, legal, banking, insurance, property, securities and accountancy sectors who all took to the field and competed for the Cup and the Plate. Tanner De Witt's team unfortunately lost. Proceeds from the event are distributed to five or six charities. The tournament has grown hugely over the last decade and is a well recognised event and has become very well established on Hong Kong's rugby/social calendar. |

Tanner De Witt sponsored a team taking part in Oxfam Trailwalker 2008.
Oxfam Trailwalker is one of the largest fundraising sports events in Hong Kong. Since 1986, Oxfam Trailwalker has raised over HK$220 million to support Oxfam's various poverty alleviation and emergency relief projects in Africa and Asia, including Hong Kong and mainland China.
Oxfam Trailwalker is a challenging event in which participants form teams of four to complete the 100km MacLehose Trail within a 48-hour time limit. The team finished in 18 hours 50 minutes, narrowly missing their target, but they were very happy to have finished at all in the 30-degree heat and high humidity.

Tanner De Witt is supporting the Christina Noble Children's Foundation's ‘Give a Ger’ Fund, which is an emergency fund established to provide families in danger of becoming homeless, or otherwise inadequately or dangerously accommodated, with a family home in Mongolia.
We will have some photos in due course of the family that has benefited from a new home.
