Candy qualified in Hong Kong in 2008. She practises in general commercial litigation with focus on personal injury matters. She acts for claimants in personal injury claims in both the High Court and the District Court and advises claimants in negotiating settlement. Many of the claims ended in successful settlement with the Defendants' insurers. She also advises the Director of Legal Aid and represents employees of subcontractors in claims against the main contractor and subcontractor for damages for injury on the work site. Her other experience includes advising employers on enforceability of restrictive covenants, acting for an overseas creditor in the recovery of debt in the order of HK$70M against a local debtor and acting in the related bankruptcy and enforcement proceedings and advising tenants in tenancy agreement claims.
